The Fall 2019 issue was my first as the Art Director for Peacock Magazine. With no previous experience in the Adobe Creative Suite, I learned as I created. In retrospect, I see this issue as the one where I was finding my footing as a designer and illustrator. I went into the position ready to learn, and I look back at this issue and see how immensely I grew between this issue and the Fall 2020 issue. For the first time, I experienced working on a team with an Editor-in-Chief and Photography Director and learned the ways we could best encourage, support, and communicate with each other.
