This assignment was to create a promotional poster for the annual art event Blanche Nuit that occurs in Paris at the beginning of October. I created this poster in three steps. The first was hand-drawn on Procreate, the second was laid out formally in Procreate, and the final version created in Photoshop. Blanche Nuit is an event that lasts throughout the night, an aspect that needed to be represented which I felt wasn't being reflected in the first two versions; thus, I made the background black. I represented the many light installations at Blanche Nuit with yellow bursts. It is also a spontaneous, fun night for Parisians so I added the neon colors and placed them randomly on the repeated "Blanche Nuit".
